Finance and Operations Manager

The Finance and Operations Manager supports the Head of Finance in managing core financial activities, including selected operational and administrative processes.

The role has a strong focus on day-to-day financial activities, with additional responsibility for operational processes related to procurement, internal controls and office management.

Core Responsibilities

Finance & controlling operations

  • Handle and track customer invoices in coordination with sales and project teams
  • Monitor and approve incoming invoices, ensuring correctness and compliance with internal procedures and external requirements
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding invoices and payments
  • Support daily cash management activities
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities in cooperation with Accounting
  • Prepare internal financial reports and analysis for management and Head of Finance
  • Support audits, documentation, and internal financial controls

Administration, Operations & Procurement

  • Manage suppliers and service providers contracts and company documents
  • Manage procurement of IT and office equipment process
  • Monitor inventory of office and IT equipment and maintain related records

Process Improvement & Data Integration

  • Support improvement and standardization of internal processes across Finance and Operations
  • Improve data consistency between internal systems, Excel files and ERP/accounting tools
  • Document and standardize workflows and identify efficiency opportunities

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in finance, controlling, business operations, preferably in IT or fintech
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP (e.g. Navision) systems is an advantage
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, business-oriented mindset
